I've been learning French for several years, but I think my listening and speaking levels are not good because of bad habits. In China, I spoke very little and was afraid to speak French with other people. It has to be said that before coming to France, I was worried about my studies, my life... I was very concerned about the future.
But I'm not worried anymore. I'm very happy to be studying in France. The people I've met at ISPA are very nice: Julie, Marine, Clémentine, Yaqiu and DING Ke. They are very helpful in welcoming us. When we have a problem, we don't hesitate to ask them questions, and they're always ready to listen to us.
When we're in class, the teachers are very patient with us and what's more, they're very qualified. We can ask them questions after class, which is not necessarily possible in all schools.
My new life in Amiens also includes the Carpentier family, whom I met at the new school year ceremony. They're very friendly and warm, and we've been communicating a lot since that evening. With them, I finally dare to speak in French.
Of course, all this is normal because now I'm in France and if I don't speak French, life will be very hard for me.
I don't regret choosing ISPA at all, and I'm now full of hope for the future.
