Originally from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, then residing for 12 years in California, I made the choice to leave the United States to settle in Amiens in 2014, my husband's hometown.
Mother of two, I teach English part-time to children and adults in various settings in Amiens.
In 2017, I wanted to improve my French, firstly to integrate better in France and secondly, to consider new job searches in connection with my university course.
ISPA is the one and only organization that was able to offer me a tailor-made FLE program, i.e. a specific timetable that enabled me to keep both my job and my lessons in line with my children's school timetable. For this I can only thank the director and the whole team, who totally adapted to my personal situation.
What's more, the teaching team is particularly encouraging, patient, fascinating and extremely pedagogical. The teachers are always available even after class, which enriches the relationship.
In addition to grammar and preparation for the TCF exams, the program also offers courses in drama, French civilization, and written and oral comprehension and production, enabling learners to better integrate French culture.
For all this, I sincerely thank the management of ISPA and its entire team. A memorable experience that will live long in the memory!
